Plantchester is made with 100% Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified hemp fibres, and coloured with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 dyes.

Hemp fabric is naturally antibacterial (less smelly), hypoallergenic (better breathing), antimicrobial (pet friendly), and thermoregulating (closer cuddling).

Really soft, very durable. 

Because we use plant dyes they can be more susceptible to fading with prolonged exposure to UV radiation (aka direct sunlight). Most contemporary products rely upon a cocktail of chemicals to achieve the Pantone perfect colour. 

But everything will fade under UV radiation, it will just take longer and likely destroy the fibres of the fabric first meaning those chemicals will leech into the environment. 

We encourage the use of wash bags to prolong the life of your sheets by protecting the fibres from ferocious washing machine cycles. Wash on a gentle cold cycle, and dry overnight or in a cool tumble dry.
